The State of Hawai‘i welcomes brides, grooms and their families from all over the globe who have decided to get married or renew their vows in paradise. This year, I signed the Civil Unions Bill, which makes Hawai'i the seventh State in the Nation to recognize Civil Unions. The legislation provides wedding opportunities for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) couples.
It also provides Hawai‘i the opportunity to raise awareness about the progressiveness, diversity, and Spirit of Aloha that makes our islands a special place for couples to confirm their love for one another.
Maui County is No Ka Oi and one of the premiere destinations for a romantic vacation.

The legal term in Hawaii is Civil Union not Marriage. We have gone through the online training and now are authorized by the State of Hawaii, Department of Health to perform legal Civil Union Ceremonies on Maui. We also offer custom packages, receptions, and private venues.
